In this blog, we discuss EndyMed Intensif, an advanced radiofrequency microneedling device that is ideal for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, scarring, textural inconsistencies, and skin laxity.

With natural looking results, short treatment times, and little downtime, it’s no surprise that EndyMed Intensif has become one of our most popular treatments.

To give you some background, the EndyMed technology has been featured in publications such as Marie Claire, Tatler, Vogue, and Glamor magazine with A-lister fans including David Beckham, Kim Kardashian, and Anna Kendrick.

One of the key benefits of Endymed Intensif is its ability to target multiple skin concerns at once.

Whether you are dealing with fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, or hyperpigmentation, the treatment can help improve the texture and appearance of your skin. Additionally, Endymed Intensif is suitable for all skin types and tones, making it an ideal option for virtually anyone looking to revitalise their skin.

Patients who come to us for the Intensif treatment are typically between 45 – 60 years old and have concerns about deepening wrinkles, textural inconsistencies (such as pigmentation and open pores), and loose skin on the face, eyes, and neck.

The main areas that patients tend to enquire about are the upper eye area (hooded eyes) and the jawline.

EndyMed Intensif for hooded eyes

Hooded eyelids mainly occur due to genetics and ageing. As we age, our skin loses elasticity, leading to sunken eyelids over time. This can be frustrating for those of us who like to wear eyeshadow, as the space between the eyelid and eyebrow decreases, causing smudging or transfer of eyeshadow to the upper eyelid. In severe cases, there may be very little to no space at all.

We also hear complaints from patients that hooded eyes make them look older and in extreme cases, it can even affect vision.

EndyMed Intensif for the jawline

We had a delightful lady who was upset that she couldn’t wear a roll-neck jumper anymore because she felt it accentuated the loose skin on her jawline. We recommended three treatment sessions specifically targeting the lower face, jawline, and neck, and that proved to be sufficient in restoring some definition to the area.

Results with EndyMed Intensif

We usually recommend a course of three treatments spaced four weeks apart. You will see an immediate lift and a radiant glow after your first treatment, with improvements throughout your course.

Results typically last around three to four years but we would usually recommend a top-up treatment around 12 – 18 months after your initial treatment.

Interestingly, we are seeing younger women, in their mid-30’s looking at ways to protect and maintain the condition and quality of their skin – and again, EndyMed Intensif is brilliant for this.

However, regardless of age, the one thing we always want to shout from the rooftops is skincare! In particular, make sure you use a sun protection factor on your face every single day of the year.

If you take one thing away from this blog – please let it be sun protection.

Sun protection factor is one of the best and easiest ways to protect your skin’s health and appearance – at any age. It can help prevent sunburn, premature ageing, and skin cancer so please make it part of your daily routine.

Is EndyMed Intensif worth it?

Yes, we think so! It is a very discreet treatment that requires very little downtime. It’s suitable for most skin types and complaints and results in smoother, softer skin, a brighter and more even complexion, and firmer and tighter skin. It can also help reduce the appearance of acne scarring.

Couple it with a great skincare routine that includes a decent sun protection factor, and you will see the results are definitely worth the investment.
