Dr Karen Robinson has the Advanced Certificate in Menopause care from the British Menopause Society (BMS), is a BMS Menopause Specialist, has the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Diploma, and is a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM).
Her special interests are Women’s Health (especially contraception, premature menopause/perimenopause/menopause) and Lifestyle medicine. She is passionate about enabling women going through these natural stages of their lives to get their life back on track and empowering them to take control of their health using the evidence-based behavioural science of Lifestyle medicine alongside HRT and/or alternative options if HRT is medically contraindicated or not a choice that a woman wishes to consider.
She is an experienced GP, practising medicine in Hampshire for the past 20 years including family planning, inserting/removing coils and contraceptive implants and working in the gynaecology clinic at Basingstoke Hospital.
Dr Robinson graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1996 (MBBS) and whilst there also achieved a first-class honours BSc degree in Biomedical Sciences (1993).
