Medicated Weight Loss

Medicated weight loss involves injectable medications to help you achieve a healthy weight. They work by reducing appetite, providing a feeling of fullness, or increasing the metabolism.

Medicated weight loss programme

Our GP and nurse-led medicated weight loss programme does more than support weight loss. Alongside clinically approved injections, we provide guidance on nutrition, physical activity and emotional wellbeing to help you build sustainable habits that support long-term weight management.

Unlike quick-fix approaches, our focus is on steady, clinically supervised progress and lasting lifestyle change. Throughout your treatment, our nurse monitors your progress, weight changes and any potential side effects to help ensure your treatment remains safe and appropriate for you.

Why choose our medicated weight loss programme?

We understand that reaching your weight loss goal is just the beginning, and that alongside carefully monitored monthly prescribing, maintaining your results can benefit from guidance and ongoing advice. That’s why we offer an excellent support programme, available for you to use if you choose, designed to help you sustain your progress with the reassurance of expert support every step of the way.

Our approach to medicated weight loss

As part of our programme, you can opt to receive access to a private support channel featuring pre-prepared daily guidance and educational content developed by qualified professionals, including a nutritionist, dietitian, counsellor, and personal trainer. The content provides general tips and strategies to support healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices alongside your prescribed treatment. The channel is informational and not a direct messaging or personalised advice service, and you may opt in or out at any time.

Support also includes access to educational webinars covering topics such as healthy eating, meal planning, and more. These resources are designed to give you practical tools to maintain your weight and build long-term healthy habits.

The programme includes referral to a local personal trainer, with an initial chat to explore your goals, plus access to three group personal training sessions and three months of complimentary access to a Nourish and Maintain online community, guided by a qualified nutritionist. You also have the option of an exploratory call with a counsellor to discuss emotional wellbeing and support strategies.

We recognise that everyone’s needs are different. Some people may not choose additional support, while others might benefit from one, two, or all three areas – nutrition, exercise, or emotional wellbeing. It’s entirely up to you if and how you want to participate.
