Male Hormones & TRT

The hormone that is responsible for giving men their deep voice, facial and body hair and muscle mass is known as testosterone.

What is Andropause?

Through ageing, the level of testosterone in men will decrease, especially after the age of 30. However, this is usually a very slow and gradual decrease of approximately 1-2% per year.

Some men develop depression, loss of sex drive, erectile dysfunction, and other physical and emotional symptoms when they reach their late 40s to early 50s. Other symptoms common in men this age are: mood swings and irritability. loss of muscle mass and reduced ability to exercise.

Symptoms of Andropause:

Usually, these symptoms are quite common in a number of other conditions which is why it is important tests are carried out to measure testosterone levels.

  • Erectile dysfunction
