We also manage referrals to specialists if further treatment or investigation is needed, and we will keep your own NHS GP in the loop (subject to your consent).

No NHS GP referral is needed to access the service, a simple registration with the clinic to become a patient is all that is required. (If you aren’t already)
A registration fee of £25 applies to new patients.

Our multidisciplinary team approach brings our specialists together to offer you an individualised treatment plan. The team works together to share their expertise and insights to ensure all aspects of your health are covered. These modifications might include lifestyle changes, such as dietary and exercise programmes, and medications or interventions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I see the GP about?

You can see a GP regarding your health concerns and support with general health
management. Some patients choose to visit a private GP for a second opinion, or they may prefer to see someone for increased privacy and confidentiality for sensitive health issues.

How long will I need to wait for an appointment?

We offer convenient appointment times throughout the day, including weekends and outside of NHS hours, making it more convenient for patients with busy schedules.

Can I arrange a home visit to see a private GP?

If you live within a five-mile radius of Hartley Wintney or Farnham clinic, we can arrange home visits for those unable to travel due to illness or mobility issues.

A doctor will telephone to assess the nature and urgency of the problem prior to an appointment being made.

Do I need health insurance to book a private GP appointment?

No, private health insurance is not required. You pay for the treatment you need.

Is the GP able to prescribe medication?

Yes, the GP can arrange a private prescription for you. Raising the prescription is included in a consultation fee with medications in addition.

Repeat prescriptions can also be requested at a cost of £30 via the website or our patient services team.

Will seeing a private GP affect my relationship with my NHS GP?

No. You can choose to visit us for an appointment at any time, and this will not affect registration with your NHS GP practice. We can write to your GP with appointmnt details if you are happy for us to do so.
