Microneedling

Our microneedling treatments safely create micro-injuries that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing response. This stimulates natural growth factors to increase collagen production and cellular tissue, rejuvenating the epidermis and improving the appearance, tone, and texture of your skin.

What is skin microneedling?

Microneedling cleverly uses your skin’s ability to repair itself and kickstart the production of collagen and elastin (proteins that give the skin texture, shape, and elasticity to generally make it healthier and stronger).

What is skin microneedling good for?

We recommend microneedling to help treat acne scars, general skin rejuvenation, enlarged pores, and to help brighten and improve the appearance of dull, tired looking skin.

How many treatments will I need?

We usually recommend between 3 and 6 treatments to get the best results. Treatments are spaced every 4 to 6 weeks.

What will my skin look like immediately after treatment?

The skin can be red after the treatment and usually takes around 24 – 48 hours to heal.

Immediately post-treatment, a tined sun factor is applied to protect the skin and cover any redness. The redness reduces quite quickly, but it can take up to 48 hours, which is completely normal.

We suggest timing the treatment for when you are happy to have a few days without strenous exercise, jacuzzis, steam rooms or a special event.

How quickly will I see results?

Results are visible after one treatment, with full results at between four and six weeks post treatment as collagen and elastin are produced.
